Find Out About Our Range of Kawai Pianos

Here at Richard Lawson Pianos, we offer only the best pianos to our customers. Kawai pianos offer great value for money, with exceptional quality where you will get the best of both when it comes to technology and modern craftsmanship. They have over 85 years of industry experience, offering expert knowledge in every detail of their pianos. Today we’re going to tell you all about our range of Kawai pianos, which includes both new and refurbished pianos.

Kawai Grand Pianos

The range of Kawai Grand Pianos features ten thousand custom parts, crafted from fibre, metal, wood, and other materials of the highest quality. Not only are these pianos beautiful to the eye, they also produce stunning sounds, offering a deep emotional resonance. At Richard Lawson Pianos, we recommend the Kawai GL10, which has the benefit of longer keys, enabling you to produce a powerful sound easily. The use of Millennium III action also means you will have a faster, stronger action with better control and stability than conventional all-wood actions. There are many other features to discover about these concert-quality pianos.

Kawai Upright Pianos

Next, our collection of Kawai Upright Pianos offers an extensive range of pianos suitable for both beginners and professionals. The K15 model is the smallest size we stock, at 108cm high. This features a premium quality solid spruce K-15E soundboard, Ultra-Responsive™ action with 100% wool felt hammer heads, and is affordably priced for families and students. Other popular options include the K300 and K500. The former builds on the success of the award-winning K3 acoustic piano. It measures 122cm, and features double felted, mahogany core hammers. The K500 also has NEOTEX key surfaces and other great features, measuring at 130cm. We stock a wide range of other sizes, up to the K600 at 132cm in height.

Kawai Digital Pianos

When you opt for a Kawai Digital Piano, you get the same beautiful quality and design as an acoustic piano, with the added advantage of making use of the latest technology. These special features include USB digital audio and soundboard speaker systems. These pianos mimic the sound of acoustic pianos but enable you to make the most of technological advances, with outstanding tone and excellent sensitivity to touch.

Silent Kawai Upright Pianos

The Silent Kawai Upright Pianos we stock are available at either 118cm, 121cm, or 125cm high, with the tallest offering a fuller, richer tone. They feature a factory fitted anytime silent system, which means you have the ability to play and listen through headphones. So, if you want to play late at night, or you don’t want to disturb people living with you, you can simply turn the acoustic element off and play silently.
