Why rent a piano?
The purchase price of a good quality piano means that for some, it’s not immediately possible to buy an instrument. Combine this with the worry of piano playing turning out not to be the right fit or concerns initial enthusiasm won’t hold out long term, and it’s easy to understand why many people are reluctant to make the purchase.
Renting can be a great solution offering:
- Affordability – small manageable payments with no big initial outlay or worrying loans. And if you decide to keep the piano, what you’ve already paid in rental will be deducted from the price.
- Flexibility – hire for as little as 6 months with no maximum rental period and if you want to try out different makes or models simply get in touch.
- Hassle-free delivery – there’s no need to worry about delivery and collection, it’s all part of the service (please note there may be a small separate charge depending on location and access).
- Exam preparation – as a trusted supplier of instruments to ABRSM, students preparing for exams can benefit from practising on a piano of the same excellent standard.
- Performance perfection – we also hire out instruments to professional pianists to use in shows and performances.

How does piano rental work?
It’s easy. Simply get in touch with the team to find out more about the different instruments we offer.
Once you’ve made your choice, we can then arrange delivery at your convenience. We typically request payment for the initial 6 months upfront, meaning you have no monthly standing order to manage.
When your rental period is over, we’ll simply arrange collection, or you can extend or swap your instrument to try out something new. Simple, flexible and affordable.
