Detailed Description
This Yamaha C1 Grand was built in Japan in 2000. Being an example of Yamaha’s renowned C Series pianos, the materials used are of the highest quality, and assembled with a particularly high level of craftsmanship. These pianos are famed for being highly durable, retaining their quality for many decades.
The Yamaha C1 is one of the most popular baby grand pianos available: it is very compact, but, being built in Japan with high-quality materials, it has a sound that truly belies its smaller size. This example has a full and powerful bass sound, a clear, singing sound in the middle section, and a crystalline brilliance in the treble area. The action is medium-heavy, and offers a lot of control for all playing techniques.
Overall, this is a highly versatile instrument suitable for students and professionals. It has been maintained and tuned to the highest standards, and will give many more decades of good service in the future. The cabinet is in overall very good condition.
