This Yamaha C1 Grand was built in 2001 in Japan, and is finished in Polished Mahogany. Being an example of Yamaha’s renowned C Series pianos, the materials used are of the highest quality, and assembled with a particularly high level of craftsmanship. These pianos are famed for being highly durable, retaining their quality for many decades.
Being a baby grand (5’3” in length), the C1 is compact enough to be accommodated in most domestic settings, but nevertheless has a very full and rich sound in the bass and middle sections, as well as a crystalline brilliance in the treble area. The action is nicely balanced and incredibly responsive.
Overall, it is a highly versatile instrument suitable for students and professionals. It has been maintained and tuned to the highest standards, and will give many more decades of good service in the future. The cabinet is in overall excellent condition.
