Detailed Description
This Yamaha C2 Grand was built in 1999 in Japan. Being an example of Yamaha’s renowned C Series pianos, the materials used are of the highest quality, and assembled with a particularly high level of craftsmanship. These pianos are famed for being highly durable, retaining their quality for many decades.
Being a large baby grand (5’8” in length), the C2 is both compact enough to be accommodated in most domestic settings, but also benefits from longer strings and a larger soundboard than would be found in smaller grands. It therefore has a very full and rich sound in the bass and middle sections, as well as a crystalline brilliance in the treble area. The action is nicely balanced and incredibly responsive.
Overall, it is a highly versatile instrument suitable for students and professionals. It has been maintained and tuned to the highest standards, and will give many more decades of good service in the future. The cabinet is in overall excellent condition.
