Detailed Description
This Yamaha C7 Grand was built in Japan, in the early 1990’s. Usually considered a Semi-Concert Grand, the C7 is a popular choice in smaller concert halls, in addition to studio spaces. Yamaha grands of this length are given a higher level of attention in their manufacture when compared to the smaller ones, and tend to be built by Yamaha’s most experienced craftsmen.
This example has amazing depth and body in the bass, a strong, projected singing sound in the middle section, and a penetrating clarity in the treble area. Being a larger grand, the keysticks are much longer than with smaller instruments, meaning that the action has a much higher degree of control along the whole length of the key when compared to most other pianos.
This Yamaha C7 has been maintained and tuned to the highest standards, and will give many more decades of good service in the future. The cabinet is in overall excellent condition.
