Detailed Description
This Yamaha GC1 Grand was built in Japan in 2006, and includes a Yamaha silent and Disklavier system which enables the player to practice through headphones whilst retaining the natural hammer action. It will also play itself with full moving key automation. In addition to this it also has full MIDI spec for easy computer connection.
The Yamaha GC1 is one of the most popular baby grand pianos available: it is very compact, but, being built in Japan with high-quality materials, it has a sound that truly belies its smaller size. This example has a rich and rounded bass sound, a strong and full singing sound in the middle section, and a sweet, brilliant character in the treble area.
Overall, this is a highly versatile instrument suitable for students and professionals. It has been maintained and tuned to the highest standards, and will give many more decades of good service in the future. The cabinet is in overall excellent condition.
